Hi David,

I love it! ;-) A little tweak and voila!

thick snow

Thanks David, less is more, and I certainly prefer this to my earlier:

caged off wall
fox prints come into their own
in the thick snow

Hi Alan

FANTASTIC!

There is something special about fox and snow I think.

What a fantastic poem you wrote (and read)!

Glad you like the revised version, all thanks to you. Good to have such incisive critique.

I wrote a poem about a raven inspired by The Thought Fox which was the first poem that ever grabbed me at school. ;-)

Alan

So where is the link to the raven poem? The Thought Fox really turned me on to poetry too.

Are you going to the Queen Elizabeth Hall on Sunday to hear the T S Eliot prize short list poets read??

Cheers

David

Hi David,

The raven poem isn't published yet.

Please say hi to Philip from me, I wasn't able to get to his Bristol reading alas.

At the moment I'm concentrating on my children's novel, book reviewing, and getting my second haiku collection ready for later this year.

Plus my With Words activities both public and private keep me busy, so maybe next year. ;-)
